Fauna spotter catcher and ecology services for Australian construction.
Every service below is delivered by licensed, field-experienced crews. Prices, inclusions and scope are published — no black-box quoting.
Fauna Spotter Catcher (FSC) crews
Our FSCs work directly alongside excavators, mulchers and clearing supervisors to identify, safely capture and relocate native fauna before and during works. Suited to vegetation clearing, soil stripping, dewatering of dams and gilgais, culvert works, excavation, demolition and infrastructure maintenance.
Koala Spotter services
Dedicated Koala Spotters for projects inside mapped koala habitat, delivered in line with the Queensland Koala Conservation Plan and interstate equivalents. Includes pre-clearance koala inspection, in-tree monitoring during clearing and rescue coordination if a koala is detected.
Pre-clearance fauna surveys and breeding-place inspections
Ecologist-led targeted searches for threatened, migratory and EVNT species and their breeding places. Suitable for input to Environmental Authorities, project approvals and clearing permits.
Fauna Management Plans and Species Management Programs
Site-specific Fauna Management Plans and Species Management Programs, prepared by qualified ecologists for submission to state authorities. Rolled into a single deliverable so your project manager isn't chasing three consultants.
Nest box supply, installation and monitoring
Species-appropriate nest boxes sourced, installed and monitored to satisfy offset conditions. Photographic and GPS records supplied for the compliance file.
Post-clearance reporting
Pre- and post-clearance reports formatted for regulator submission. Every fauna encounter, relocation and injury is logged in the field and delivered as a PDF report within 5 business days of demobilisation.
24/7 snake capture and relocation
Active project sites can call our on-call snake catchers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Fastest way to keep a crew safely working when a venomous snake turns up.
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge per hour or per day?
FSC and Koala Spotter crews are charged on a published day rate, itemised in the quote. Site vehicles and kit, per-km travel and standby time are separate line items so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
How is remote-area accommodation handled?
If the project is within 100 km of one of our depots, crews base out of the depot and no accommodation line appears on your quote. Beyond that, meals and accommodation are quoted transparently per crew per day.
