What Fauna Spotters does
We keep vegetation clearing, dewatering, demolition and civil works on schedule while protecting native wildlife and keeping the project compliant with state and federal legislation. Our crews turn up before the machines, walk the clearing face, and move fauna out of harm's way — no drama, no delays.
Every mobilisation is a complete package: a licensed spotter catcher or ecologist, site vehicle, capture and handling kit, GPS-logged fauna records, and pre- and post-clearance reporting formatted for regulator submission. Nothing gets bolted on later.

Every quote line is itemised: crew day rate, site vehicle and kit, per-km travel from the closest depot, meals and accommodation only when the site is genuinely remote. If you can't see what you're paying for, it's not a fair quote.
Licensed, insured and audit-ready
We hold the Rehabilitation permit (spotter catcher) in Queensland and the Wildlife Management (Controller) Permit in South Australia, and supply licensed personnel in both. In every other state and territory we obtain the correct licence for each project, with management plans and crew credentials ready to go and applications pre-filled, for the fastest possible path to approval.
Full public liability and professional indemnity insurance, White Card inductions and first-aid tickets are supplied with every mobilisation. Snake-handling and tree-climbing tickets are supplied where the scope of works calls for them. Your compliance advisor has the paperwork before the crew leaves the depot.
Who we work with

We run a core in-house crew supported by a vetted, licensed sub-crew network across every state and territory. Every named individual on a mobilisation holds a current wildlife-handling authority in their own name — not just the company's — and licence copies are supplied on every quote.
Do you sub-contract to other environmental consultancies?
